We all know that “Gone with the Wind” is one of the most successful book of all time. First published in 1936 Gone With the Wind was made into a movie in 1939 starring Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable.

However, what many don’t know is that this legendary movie still influences our culture today. Movies, television shows, books and advertisements make reference to this classic book and movie all the time. Particular phrases from GWTW are even used in everyday language, almost daily by the obsessive fan.

So why not let the world know about this classic movie that has never left the hearts of those who love it by pointing out the various references that exist in the modern world? Wouldn't that show the unbelieving that a book published in 1936 is still highly loved?
